Rick
Fine.

Experiential producer. Brief to debrief.

Eight years with Toyota, BMW and Jeep/RAM taught me what makes people stop and engage. I've also led on-site teams and event operations for Westword and other festivals. Now I want to bring that full range into a producer role — the concept, the build, and the report-out, not just the floor.

How I work

Brief to debrief.

A hiring manager who needs day-of talent sees a fun personality. A hiring manager who needs this role sees someone who's already worked every stage of what an activation needs — planning, the floor, and the debrief — just not all three in one job yet. Here's that full range.

Partner & Plan

Working with brand and agency teams to turn a goal into an activation: concept, run-of-show, site map, budget, staffing plan, community outreach.

  • Run-of-show docs, site maps, scheduling & coverage
  • Budgeting, asset allocation, travel planning
  • Community & stakeholder outreach ahead of the event

Produce & Lead

Building the footprint and the team, managing vendors and schedules, and running the day on site.

  • Pop-up build-outs — tents, scaffolding, signage
  • On-site across 20+ activations; team lead on multi-day festival builds (Westword, Two Parts)
  • Vendor and crew coordination on flow and timing

Measure & Report

Capturing feedback and data on the day, then delivering a debrief with insights and recommendations.

  • Post-activation spreadsheets and analytics
  • Real-time messaging adjustments based on guest questions
  • Debriefs that feed the next season's brief
I've stood where your consumer stands, so I plan from the audience's side. Eight years as a face-to-face Product Specialist and Brand Ambassador for Toyota, BMW and Jeep/RAM is the credibility behind all three stages above — and a parallel track building and leading field teams means I can staff the plan, too.

About me

Comfortable with people. Built for the floor.

I'm looking for a full-time organizational role in events, experiential marketing, trade shows or pop-up activations — where I can help design and deliver campaigns people actually remember. Everything below is what I bring to that seat.

My career sits at the intersection of people and brand: full-cycle talent management, business development, building employee culture, and standing in front of consumers as a product specialist and brand ambassador at live events. That mix is exactly what an experiential team needs from someone running the ground game.

"What ties it all together is a genuine comfort with people — reading a room, adjusting on the fly, and making sure both the brand and the audience walk away with a good impression."

Based in Denver, CO. Travels 50–75% and comfortable running a build — multi-day, on my feet, hands-on when the schedule needs it.

  • Team lead on multi-day activations
  • Budgeting, asset allocation, travel planning
  • Full-cycle talent & team building
  • Client & stakeholder presentations
Track record

Results, not just reps.

Thunder Valley Ride & Drive

Part of Toyota's consumer-engagement team every season since 2022 (Podium Marketing) — five years and counting, with new stops added along the way.

BMW & Jeep/RAM, same season

Fronted the BMW Ultimate Drive & Ride and the Jeep/RAM Overland Expo activation in 2026, representing two more premium auto brands at the same on-floor standard.

Represented RMCAD in Germany

Presented a Yellow Ribbon veteran scholarship to a youth recipient on U.S. military bases in Germany, alongside U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn — representing an institution to a high-stakes audience.

+10% retention & diversity

From a parallel full-cycle recruiting track at Hammersmith Management and Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties — the proof I can build and lead a field team, not just run one.

Case studies

Three programs, up close.

A closer look at what I've actually done on three ongoing programs — and what I'd bring to running the next one.

Toyota · Podium Marketing

Thunder Valley Ride & Drive

The goal
Turn casual fans into confident, informed test-drivers across a multi-stop Rockies-region circuit — Thunder Valley, Air Force Academy game days, Greeley Stampede, Breckenridge — for Toyota's Rockies, Avalanche, Rapids, Mammoth, Nuggets and DU programs.
My part
Face-to-face product engagement at every stop: learned the lineup, worked the line, answered real objections, and kept the queue moving across multi-day, multi-location dates.
The result
Toyota and Podium have kept the program running every season since 2022, adding new stops each year.
What I'd bring next
I'd want to be in the room for next season's plan — feeding guest questions from the floor into the brief before it's written.
BMW & Jeep/RAM · Productions+ / ESM

Ultimate Drive & Ride / Overland Expo

The goal
BMW and Jeep/RAM each needed a Brand Ambassador who could hold premium brand standards in a crowded outdoor environment and guide guests through the product story.
My part
Fronted the Ultimate Drive & Ride experience and the Overland Expo activation — guiding product narratives, protecting brand standards, and collaborating with crews on flow and timing across multi-day activations.
The result
Represented two more auto brands at the same standard set by the Toyota program, in the same season.
What I'd bring next
I'd bring that cross-brand comparison into the concept stage — what worked for one program that the next one should borrow.
Westword

Music Festival, Feast & Tacolandia

The goal
Run the ground operation for Westword's annual festivals — build, staffing, and teardown — across seven years of events.
My part
As Event Operations Lead: built run-of-show docs, site maps, and staffing & coverage plans; led on-site teams through multiple years of Music Festival (2018–2025), Feast, Tacolandia and Artopia.
The result
Seven years of repeat trust from one client, across four different festival formats.
What I'd bring next
I'd formalize the post-teardown debrief into something the client sees every year, not just internal notes.
